How to make extra money from home. In this post, I’m going to be talking about a way to make money that is rarely discussed. In fact, it’s hard to find any clear information on this subject at all.

I’m talking here about making money from your hobbies.

Now, you may be thinking, my hobby is something I enjoy, why should I be looking to make money from it.?. This is a good question, but if your rewind tha question, you’ll see that it makes perfect sense to make money from something you enjoy..

Plus, everyone needs extra money, right?

Lots of people are making extra money from home, selling products and services online in the same niche as their hobby. It makes sense to do something that you love and get paid.

How To Make Extra Money From Home – The Facts

The facts are, if you love doing it, there’s a very good chance hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions of other people do too. If you are good at what you do, people will listen to you. Many hobbies require having money spent on them. For instance, if you love hiking, you probably have a backpack, possibly a tent, and other equipment.

Maybe you buy magazines, books, other stuff related to your hobby such as clothing, printed mugs etc.

What is the best equipment to buy for a beginner?. Maybe you have a specific make of boots that you can recommend. How do you survive on the mountain in wet or treacherous weather conditions?, could you be an affiliate for some of these products?. Could you start a hiking newsletter and charge for it, or – what if you could write a book and put it on Amazon?.

The options are endless.

When I was a 13yr old kid, I would often go off bus-spotting at the weekend, (taking bus numbers) with a friend of mine called Terry Smith. After spending many weekends riding buses, collecting bus numbers, photographing buses, and visiting every London Transport bus garage, I decided to turn that knowledge into cash.

I creates a newsletter called “The London Transport Enthusiasts Society”. I can’t remember what I charged but I used to get a regular supply of postal orders arriving through the post. My Dad threw a fit one day when a man turned up on the doorstep looking for the editor (me). I was only 13, but I knew there and then that you could make extra money from home from your hobby.

There are a million and one hobbies out there, knitting, sewing, horse riding, archery, football, fishing, photography, writing, collecting memorabilia, etc, All of these things have one thing in common – they are all loved by millions of people. Yes, people who are buyers. They spend money on their hobby.

You can sell related hobby products all over the world. Fishing in England is pretty much the same as Fishing in Colorado, people from all over the world love to relax with a hobby.

Every hobby has a fan base. Every fan base buys related products. You can find what people want and sell it to them

How To Make Extra Money From Home – What Could You Sell?

1. Sell affiliate products – these are related products sold on a commission-only basis
2. Create a book and sell it on Amazon – check out this book for details
3. Create a free newletter and offer it as a bribe in exchange for their email address, then add them to your marketing list
4. Create a paid newsletter
5. Create a membership site
6. Create a course on how to do xXx better. This could be a course on how to improve your golf handicap or a course on how to create a quilt. Or a course on how to sell your designs on Etsy.
7. Create your own designs for your hobby and print them on T Shirts & Mugs. Get them printed by a Print On Demand printer and sell them on your own website, or sites like Etsy.

There are many ways that you can make extra money from home. I’ve only scratched the surface here. Start with your hobbies. Look at what you buy yourself, and think about selling the same. You don’t need a ton of cash to get started as most products can be sold on a commission-only basis via your own affiliate link. Go on to “Google” and type in the name of your hobby followed by “affiliate program”

If you are feeling a bit more ambitious, you can always create a paid newsletter or write a book. People love to know as much as they can about their hobbies. After all, hobbies bring joy to people. They bring joy to you, so why not multiply that joy and make some extra cash too?.
