Why The Fast Way To Riches Is Actually Quite Slow

Breathe deeply…

If you’ve ever wondered why it’s so hard to create the rich life you’ve always wanted, the following few paragraphs may just be the answer. Prepare for just a few moments of peace and quiet, nail your boots to the ground (metaphorically speaking) and suck up the following:

As attractive as it may seem, fast bucks tend to fade quickly. I personally know how quickly an inheritance can disappear, fast money tends to be fleeting. Building structure into your business takes time, may seem boring, yet it really is your best chance of thriving.

Why do people make it so hard to achieve great wealth?.

It’s simple really (isn’t it always?).

Great wealth avoids those whose focus keeps getting tangled up in fast money, easy money, biz in a box type schemes. These schemes are designed to part you from your ready cash and enrich the bank accounts of those who design them. I’m sorry to disappoint you, but unless you hit the lottery, back a 5 horse accumulator or hit it big on bitcoin, you may need to re-think your strategy.

Quit Flogging Your Guts Out

Joining all those wacko schemes can be quite exhausting. “Hustling” the word made popular by Gary Vee might imply that unless you work your tail off all day long coming up with “The Next Big Thing”, you might never make a lot of money. This simply isn’t true. It’s far better to slow down and think properly than it is to go charging into every stupid scheme out there just because of your FOMO. (Fear Of Missing Out).

The Internet has created so many opportunities. It has also created many Wacko’s and Scammers too. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The best, most powerful ways of making money are the ones you slowly shift your gears into and create yourself.

I spend ages figuring things out.

This whole AI thing fascinates me as I view it as a puzzle, something that needs to be figured out. Once you figure things out, you then figure out the best way to turn that knowledge into money.

Money, once you see it coming in drives confidence, but all you have before that stage is faith and the desire to achieve great things. You can’t really focus on that if your mind is everywhere.

There is method in the madness and the method is the key. Without a plan, your goal will always remain just a goal. Write it down, every stage, the cost, the sequence of the steps, the time allocated etc, etc. Plan, then do, you don’t need to know everything to get started, just start, you learn as you go. Don’t wait for motivation, doing each step will motivate you.

You don’t have to be the hare to get rich, sometimes the tortoise wins.

People who want to get rich fast all the time tend to be people who spend a lot of time being broke. Take your time, plan it out, take one step at a time and learn as you go.

Have a great day.

Keith
